Jack-in-the-Box Coloring Pages

Six free jack-in-the-box coloring pages. Two jesters in floppy belled hats spring out of their boxes with their arms wide, a puppy pops up on a spring instead, two show a laughing boy on the playroom floor as a clown jumps out next to a toy car, a ball and blocks, and one is a toy shelf with a teddy bear, a train, blocks and a jack-in-the-box.

The boxes are covered in stars and dots, the springs are big coils, and every face is smiling, nothing that jumps out to scare. The outlines are thick and the shapes simple, which suits preschoolers and early grade-schoolers.

A few ideas: color each side of the box a different color so it looks solid. The jester hats have three points, a good place for three different colors with yellow bells on the ends. Try a shiny gray or silver for the springs and the crank handle.

Each sheet prints on one US-letter page, or color it online on a phone or tablet.
