## About

Four free John 15:5 coloring pages, each with the King James words in big hollow letters and a decorative frame. Two are bold sheets for kids, and two are finer sheets for adults.

In the Gospel of John, Jesus says this to his disciples on the night before he was crucified. He compares himself to a grapevine, his followers to its branches, and God the Father to the gardener.

A branch only grows fruit while it stays joined to the vine. “Abideth” means stays or remains, so Jesus is saying that when we stay close to him, good things grow in our lives.

Use greens for “vine” and “branches” and purple for “fruit,” as if the words were a bunch of grapes. In a Sunday-school class, you could bring a real grape cluster or a cut branch to show what happens when a branch is separated from the plant. This sheet also fits a lesson on the fruit of the Spirit or a fall harvest theme.
