## About

Four free Matthew 5:14 coloring pages with the King James words in big hollow letters inside a decorative frame. Two sheets are bold and simple for kids, and two are finer for adults.

Jesus said these words in the Sermon on the Mount, while teaching his disciples on a mountainside. In the next verses he says that no one lights a candle and hides it under a bushel, and he tells his listeners to let their light shine so others can see their good works.

In simple words, Jesus is saying that the way his followers live can help others see what is good, like a lamp in a dark room or a town on a hill that everyone can see.

Yellows, golds and oranges suit the word "light," with darker blues or purples around the edges of the frame to make it glow. A colored sheet looks good taped to a sunny window or a classroom door, and children can draw a small city on a hill along the bottom of the page.
