Four free pumpkin coloring pages for fall: a grinning jack-o'-lantern sitting in a pile of autumn leaves, a big round pumpkin with curly vines and two leaves, three pumpkins stacked by a wooden fence with corn stalks behind them, and a second jack-o'-lantern with a wide, toothy smile.

The outlines are thick and the shapes are big, so they suit preschoolers and early grade-schoolers, and there's still enough in the vines, leaves and corn for older kids who like to take their time. Each sheet prints on one US-letter page, or you can color it right here on a phone or tablet with Color it online.

A few ideas: try the pumpkins in more than one orange, with a lighter stripe down the middle of each section and a darker one at the edges, and they'll look round. Green, white and even blue pumpkins are real varieties, so the stacked pumpkins don't all have to match. The leaves are a good place for red, yellow and brown together.

The pumpkins without faces work from September right through Thanksgiving; the jack-o'-lanterns are ready for Halloween.
