1 Peter 5:7 Coloring Pages

Four free 1 Peter 5:7 coloring pages, with the King James words in big hollow letters set in a decorative frame. You get two bold kids’ sheets and two finer adult sheets.

The apostle Peter wrote this letter to believers scattered across several regions, many of them going through hard times. Just before this verse he tells them to humble themselves under God’s mighty hand.

In the King James wording, “care” means worry. The verse, “Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you,” tells us to hand all our worries over to God, because he cares about us.

For an activity, have each child write or draw one worry on a small slip of paper, fold it up, and drop it in a box while saying the verse. Then they color the sheet. Calm colors like soft blue and green suit this verse well. The adult sheets make a thoughtful gift for a friend going through a hard season, tucked into a card.
