Bible Verse Coloring Pages for Adults

Bible verse coloring pages for adults: twelve free sheets, one verse per page, in the King James words. Each verse is lettered in large hollow type inside a finer, more detailed frame that rewards slow coloring. Bold kids' frames are available too.

The verses speak of trust, gratitude and steady faith. Psalm 46:1 calls God "our refuge and strength," and Psalm 19:1 says "The heavens declare the glory of God." Psalm 107:1 and 1 Thessalonians 5:18 are about giving thanks. Hebrews 11:1 describes faith, Galatians 6:9 encourages us not to grow weary in well doing, and Proverbs 31:25 says "Strength and honour are her clothing." Exodus 34:6 and Romans 12:1 round out the set.

These pages suit quiet time in the morning or evening, a Bible study group, or a women's retreat craft table. Color one while you think over the verse, then tape it into a journal or Bible margin.

The finished pages look good framed, and Proverbs 31:25 makes a thoughtful gift for a mother or friend. Colored pencils, fine markers or watercolor pencils all work well with the finer frames.
