Easter Bible Verse Coloring Pages

Easter Bible verse coloring pages: six free sheets, one verse per page, in the King James words. Each verse is printed in big hollow letters inside a decorative frame, with bold frames for kids and finer frames for adults.

The verses center on the death and resurrection of Jesus. Matthew 28:6 and Luke 24:6 give the angel's words at the empty tomb, He is not here, for he is risen. In John 11:25 Jesus says "I am the resurrection, and the life." 1 Corinthians 15:3-4 sums up the Easter message: Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose again the third day. John 3:16 and Romans 6:23 speak of the gift of everlasting life.

Six sheets fit the days of Holy Week leading up to Easter Sunday, one page a day. They also work well for a Sunday school lesson, an Easter basket insert, or homemade cards for grandparents.

For color, try spring pastels like lilac, yellow and soft green, or bright sunrise oranges and pinks for the resurrection verses. Hung together in a window, they make a cheerful Easter display.
