Psalm 119:105 Coloring Pages

Four free Psalm 119:105 coloring pages, each with the King James words in big hollow letters and a decorative frame. Two are bold sheets for children and two are finer, more detailed sheets for adults who color.

Psalm 119 is the longest psalm in the Bible. It is built in sections of eight verses, one for each letter of the Hebrew alphabet, and nearly every verse speaks about God's word and law. This verse opens the section for the letter Nun.

"Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path." In plain words: God's word helps us see where to go, the way a lamp shows you where to step on a dark night.

Before coloring, turn off the lights and let children walk a short path by flashlight, then talk about how the light helped. Warm oranges and yellows suit "lamp" and "light." The adult sheet makes a nice cover for a Bible study binder or journal.
