About Psalm 119:11 Coloring Pages

Four free Psalm 119:11 coloring pages with the King James words in big hollow letters inside a decorative frame. Two sheets are bold and simple for kids, and two are finer and more detailed for adults who color.

Psalm 119 is the longest chapter in the Bible, and almost every verse in it speaks about God's word, law or commandments. Just before this verse the psalmist asks how a young man can keep his way clean, and answers: by following God's word.

"Hid in mine heart" doesn't mean hiding it away from others. It means learning God's word so well that you keep it inside you, where it can help you choose what is right.

Few verses fit a memory-verse program better, since the verse is about memorizing. Color one sheet at the start of a term and add a sticker or star to the frame for each verse a child learns. A heart-shaped color pattern around the words ties back to "mine heart."
