Romans 6:23 Coloring Pages

Paul wrote the letter of Romans to the believers in Rome. In chapter 6 he explains that people who belong to Christ are no longer servants of sin, and he closes the chapter with this verse.

“Wages” are pay someone earns for their work. Paul sets two things side by side: sin earns death, but eternal life is a gift from God through Jesus, and a gift is something you don’t earn.

This verse has a clear contrast built in, which helps with coloring. Kids can use gray or black for the first half and bright colors for “the gift of God is eternal life.” To make the idea of a gift concrete, wrap a small present and talk about the difference between being paid and being given something. Older students can use the finer sheets in a youth-group lesson on the book of Romans.
