Hebrews 13:8 Coloring Pages

Four free Hebrews 13:8 coloring pages with the King James words in big hollow letters inside a decorative frame. Two sheets use a bold style for kids, and two use a finer style for teens and adults who enjoy more detail.

The letter to the Hebrews was written to early Christian believers, and its writer isn't named in the text. This verse comes in the closing chapter, among final words of encouragement, right after the readers are told to remember the leaders who first taught them.

It says Jesus Christ does not change. He was the same yesterday, he is the same today and he will be the same forever. For a child, that means the Jesus in the Bible stories is the same Jesus who loves them now. ("To day" is just the old spelling of "today.")

The three time words give an easy color idea: a soft color for "yesterday," a bright one for "to day" and a deep one for "for ever." Because the verse is short, it is a quick memory verse for young children and a good page for a New Year's lesson.
