Isaiah 40:31 Coloring Pages

Four free Isaiah 40:31 coloring pages with the King James words in big hollow letters inside a decorative frame. There are two bold sheets for kids and two finer sheets for teens and adults.

This verse ends Isaiah chapter 40, which opens with God saying “Comfort ye, comfort ye my people.” Just before it, the prophet says that God never grows faint or weary, and that he gives power to people who are tired.

To “wait upon the LORD” means to trust him and hope in him. The verse promises that people who do will get new strength, as if they could fly like eagles, run without getting tired, and walk without giving up.

Kids enjoy acting this one out: flap arms for “mount up with wings,” jog in place for “run,” and step slowly for “walk.” For color, try sky blues for the frame and browns and golds for the eagle words. The finer sheet makes a good card for a coach, a runner, or a friend recovering from an illness.
