Isaiah 9:6 Coloring Pages

Four free Isaiah 9:6 coloring pages with the King James words in big hollow letters inside a decorative frame. Two bold sheets suit young children, and two finer sheets are for older kids and adults.

The prophet Isaiah spoke these words as a promise to Israel. A few verses earlier he says that "the people that walked in darkness have seen a great light." The verse is often read at Christmas.

It tells of a child who will be born and will grow up to be a great king. Isaiah gives him five names: Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, and The Prince of Peace.

Give each of the five names its own color so they stand out from the rest of the verse, perhaps red, green, gold, blue and purple. A finished sheet folded in half makes a homemade Christmas card, and a class can color them during Advent to take home before the holidays.
