Mark 12:30 Coloring Pages

Four free Mark 12:30 coloring pages with the King James words in big hollow letters inside a decorative frame. There are two bold sheets for kids and two finer sheets for adults who want a longer coloring project.

In the Gospel of Mark, a scribe asks Jesus which commandment is the first of all. Jesus answers with this verse, quoting the law of Moses, and then adds a second: "Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself."

Jesus says to love God with all of yourself: your heart, your soul, your mind and your strength. For a child, it means loving God with everything you feel, everything you think and everything you do.

The four parts make a good action verse. Have children point to their heart, hold their hands up, tap their head and flex their arms as they say each line, then color those four words in four different colors. Pair it with a sheet of verse 31 to show both commandments side by side.
