About James 1:2 Coloring Pages

Four free James 1:2 coloring pages with the King James words in big hollow letters inside a decorative frame. There are two bold sheets for kids and two finer sheets for adults.

This verse opens the letter of James, which is addressed to "the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad." Right after it, James explains that when our faith is tested, it grows patience in us.

In this verse, "temptations" means trials or hard times, and "divers" means many different kinds. So the verse says that when life gets hard in all sorts of ways, we can still find joy, because hard times can help us grow.

For older children and adults, this page pairs well with a short journal: color a little each day and write one hard thing alongside one good thing that came out of it. With younger kids, the word "joy" can be the star of the page, colored in the brightest colors in the box while the rest stays softer.
