About Jeremiah 29:11 Coloring Pages

Four free Jeremiah 29:11 coloring pages, each with the King James words in big hollow letters inside a decorative frame. There are two bold sheets for kids and two finer, more detailed sheets for adults.

The prophet Jeremiah wrote these words in a letter from Jerusalem to the people who had been carried away to Babylon. In the verse just before, the LORD tells them that after seventy years he will bring them home.

The verse is God saying that he has good plans for his people, plans of "peace, and not of evil." An "expected end" is an old way of saying a future worth hoping for.

This one suits times of change: a new school year, a move to a new town, a graduation. A teen or adult can color the fine-line sheet in soft blues and greens and tuck it into a card. In class, children can color theirs and write on the back one thing they are hoping for this year.
